How do I know if my shower needs resealing?
Signs include black or pink mould on the silicone, cracking or shrinking sealant, gaps appearing between the tray and wall, or water leaking through to the floor or ceiling below.
Can you reseal a shower enclosure with glass panels?
Yes — we regularly work on frameless and framed glass shower enclosures, sealing all joints between glass, tiles and trays to a professional finish.
How long before I can use the shower again?
We recommend waiting 24 hours for the silicone to fully cure before using the shower. We'll confirm this based on the specific product used on your job.
Will resealing fix a leaking shower?
In most cases, yes — failed silicone is the most common cause of shower leaks. We'll assess the situation and advise if there are any other issues to address.
